Once upon a party...
My mom took 5 months to plan this royal celebration. From January to May.
She invited 13 princesses, 11 princes (small boys) and 6 knights (big boys).
But because even in fairy tales bad things do happen, we couldn't celebrate my
birthday in MAY, that is the month that i was born; we have to celebrated it
in september. And when we at last did it, not even half of the royal guest assisted.
But it didn't matter because i had a great time.
We celebrated it in the park, it was a sunny but breezy afternoon.
ROYAL ACTIVITIES:
We all colored homemade, princess and knights coloring books.
Then had some snacks and pink lemonade with rasberries inside.
After that mommy read the snow white story and then the princesses played "Pass the poison apple" (hot potato or pass the ball game style). Mommy made sure that each girl received a small consolation prize when they lost. She didn't want them to feel sad; the small prize was a red tulle with a green ribbon filled with Red gum balls; The grand prize was a bag filled with stuff based on the snow white theme(coloring book, story book, a cup, lollipop, pencil, hairpins, stickers sheets).
We played other games, keeping the same princesses theme.
My titi (mom's sister) read facts about knights to the boys
The princes and the knigths played "Toss a ring" the game consisted in tossing ring at swords, that was the way to win the one they like the most.
The other game was "Toss a ball" the game consisted in the more balls they introduce inside the cups better the opportunity to win a SHIELD. They all received their swords and shields but also they received gold chocolate coins in mini gold sashes.
Then it was time to play "Pin the kiss on the prince frog" for the girls and "Pin the sword on the Knight" for all the boys.
As small consolation prize
princesses received: Red lips chocolate candies
princes and knights received: Knights sets (little soldiers alike) and small paper with facts about knights.
For the grand prize:
Princesses received: Frog coin purse, green accesories, a green journal, plus small toys.
Princes and knights received: Shrek theme stuff (coloring book, cup filled with gummy worms, a puzzle and a flute).
ROYAL BANQUET
Then was the time for the royal banquet. It was served in pink matching plates and cups for the girls and gold set for the boys, gold utensils for all of them. Plus dollies as platemats for the princesses.
THE RED DRAGON
I helped mommy to make the red dragon pinata. It was big, it was really heavy, it was scary but it was a big hit.
The dragon was fill only with candies (pounds and pounds of good stuff, like Skittles, pixstix, m&m's, jelly rancher lollipops, candy bracelets, hersheys crunch eggs, twix mini bars, reeses eggs, hersheys kisses, sweet tarts, smoothies, princesses lollipops, etc...ufff everything gooood). Inside was a gold envelope with a message and one key. There was the clues to find the 2 gold dragon eggs and inside the eggs where the clues to find the treasure box.
First we went to find the eggs then we went for" treasure hunt".
Eventually we found the treasure box and with the key we opened the small lock.
ROYAL SASHES (goodies bags)
Inside were the Royal sashes ( Goodies bags).
Inside the Princesses beautiful sashes(decorated with beads) was :

CAKE TIME
Then like in all royal birthday parties there's a time for the cake, my mom bough a beautiful castle for my cake but well the true is, the cake never arrived to my royal party; my aunty (daddy's sister)was supposed to bring it but something came up and she couldn't come.
So when we went home to continue the party, it got dark in the park; my mommy went to the bodega and bough me a mini cake (a.k.a muffing) so i could make my wish, 4 moths after my real birthday, that's ok, anyway who needs a big cake when you are a princess for a day and you having such a great time.
